Working as an HVAC apprentice years ago riding along with my father in his service van, I remember always having an HVAC Xchanger issue with us in the document holder. It served as a valuable industry tool known by almost everyone in the business.
Years later, when it was time to get serious about my permanent valve TAGS product line, I knew this magazine was the next big step in the right direction. The editors and design team made it really easy to get the first full-page ad out there across the industry. Since then, the magazine has expanded into western Canada and even online.

HVAC Xchanger was a valuable resource, well before I started advertising in it. As a new business in 1999, AIR FORCE 1 desperately needed customers. Traveling from Wholesale Dealer to Dealer, I found copies of HVAC Xchanger on every counter and in the hands of contractors and technicians. Flipping one open, I discovered the index listing every Dealer who could potentially order what I was selling. Immediately I started contacting, making appointments, following up and demonstrating products, resulting in a growing base of loyal and supportive customers.
The next natural step was to begin advertising in this well-respected industry organ. We started in the early 2000s and noticed a difference in volume almost immediately. Products featured in HVAC Xchanger were requested at Dealer counters throughout Ontario, leading to increased sales and profitability. And that’s the reason we haven’t missed an issue since.
