Soft touch non-slip grip insert:
Over molded rubber on top grip cushions hand from repetitive recoil when using punching, notching or locking tools. Insert also prevents hand from slipping off wet grip or if perspiring.
Ergonomic grip contours fit hand:
A thumb stall (bump on top grip) and finger stop (on lower grip) are placed where contractors prefer them. Tool can be pushed or pulled without slipping out of hand when maneuvering the tool or even when holding the tool upside down.
Place index finger inside finger grip for increased precision and control.
Handle openings engineered for optimum gripping range:
Slide fingers back on handle for increased leverage.
The human hand’s natural power stroke falls within a gripping range of 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches (63 to 89 mm). Redline handle openings always fall within this range to compliment hand strength and maximize applied leverage for any size hand.
Ambidextrous, thumb operated latch:

Accessible in either hand so there is always a free hand to support work piece. Latch will not spring open, even if tool is dropped, and thumb operated location ensures that latch will not hang-up or close when operating tool.
Grips are chemical, UV, cold resistant and permanently joined to steel shafts:
All-steel construction:
Grip material will not break down from contact with oils or solvents or prolonged exposure to sun. A cold rating of -20 F (-28.9 C) ensures that grips will not crack if the tool is dropped when cold. They are also press-fit over barbs on full length hardened steel handle shafts. Malco Redline grips will not slip or pull off and handles will not collapse.
Compound leverage:
With long-life hardened stampings and forgings.
Extra handle linkage multiplies force applied to handles and increases one-hand mechanical advantage by a 7:1 ratio.
